With the explosion of generative AI applications like ChatGPT and Sora, the computing power demand of data centers is growing exponentially. Traditional "air cooling" can no longer meet the needs of high-power-density AI servers, and "liquid cooling" technology is becoming mainstream. However, the coolant in liquid cooling systems often has extremely strong permeability, posing a huge challenge to sealing materials. A new type of "fluorosilicone rubber sealing solution" is quietly becoming the "invisible guardian" of AI server liquid cooling systems. In an immersed liquid cooling system, the server motherboard is completely submerged in fluorinated liquid (such as 3M's electronic fluorinated liquid or its domestic substitute). Industry experts point out that with the advancement of the "East Data, West Computing" project, fluorosilicone rubber will play an indispensable role in the future construction of green data centers, ensuring the "coolness" and "safety" of computing power infrastructure.
