Phenyl Silicone Oil: A High-Temperature Lubricant with Electrical Stability

Hits: 268 img

Applications such as insulation, sensor protection, and precision instrument lubrication require materials with excellent thermal and dielectric properties. Phenyl silicone oil, with its aromatic-enhanced structure, offers strong resistance to oxidation and thermal breakdown while maintaining electrical stability.

This oil performs well at 250°C–300°C, resisting coking and evaporation. It is used in high-temperature bearings, thermal interface materials, and vacuum pump systems. Its high flash point, low surface tension, and dielectric resistance make it valuable in transformer cooling, RF system lubrication, and solar power devices. When blended into greases, it improves stability and performance under extreme conditions.
