Phenyl silicone oil is a specialty silicone fluid combining thermal stability with outstanding dielectric strength. Its aromatic side chains enhance high-temperature oxidation resistance, allowing continuous operation at 250°C–300°C without decomposition.
In electrical systems, it serves as a dielectric fluid for transformers and high-voltage components due to its high flash point, low volatility, and non-corrosiveness. In mechanical systems, it's used as a heat-resistant bearing oil, damping fluid, and vacuum lubricant—ideal for high-radiation or thermally intensive environments.
Thanks to its low surface tension and lubricity, it can also be blended into synthetic greases, improving performance, extending equipment life, and reducing maintenance.
