Fluorosilicone rubber incorporates trifluoropropyl groups into its side chains, combining the wide-temperature elasticity of silicone rubber with the oil resistance of fluororubber. It exhibits outstanding swelling resistance against aviation kerosene, hydraulic fluids, and other fuel media, maintaining sealing resilience from -54°C to 260°C, with excellent adhesion to metals such as aluminum and titanium. Thanks to these characteristics, it is widely used as a groove sealant for aircraft integral fuel tanks, a sealing component for aviation hydraulic systems, and O-rings for fuel pipelines, serving as a core material in aviation fuel system sealing.
