Thanks
to the extremely low surface tension brought by trifluoropropyl groups,
fluorosilicone oil can rapidly spread onto foam film surfaces,
destabilizing and breaking down foam. It is chemically inert, resistant
to high and low temperatures, and highly effective even in minimal
quantities. Relying on these characteristics, it is widely used as a
defoaming agent in chemical reactors, an anti-foaming agent in
fermentation industries, and a defoaming aid in wastewater treatment,
serving as an ideal choice for foam control in industrial production.
