By
introducing trifluoropropyl groups into its molecular chain,
fluorosilicone oil successfully combines the dual advantages of silicone
and fluorocarbon compounds. It not only maintains extremely low surface
tension across a wide temperature range of -60°C to 200°C but also
exhibits outstanding resistance to aviation fuel, strong acids, alkalis,
and various chemical solvents. Relying on its excellent corrosion
resistance and chemical inertness, it is widely used as a specialty
lubricant for precision instruments, a moisture-proof insulating coating
for electronic components, and an anti-corrosion protective fluid for
chemical equipment.
