Methyl
hydrogen silicone oil contains highly active silicon-hydrogen bonds in
its molecular chain, serving as an excellent crosslinker and
modification raw material. It can form an ultra-thin, breathable
hydrophobic film on the surface of fabrics, leather, and building
materials, causing water droplets to slide off rapidly like on a lotus
leaf, achieving "waterproof yet breathable" performance. Thanks to this
characteristic, it is widely used as a waterproof finishing agent for
outdoor windbreakers, a moisture-proof protective liquid for high-end
building exterior walls, and special anti-fouling coatings.
