Silicone
rubber, based on flexible siloxane bonds, offers excellent temperature
resistance, weatherability, and physiological inertness, making it the
most widely used elastomer. Fluorosilicone rubber introduces fluorinated
groups, combining the broad temperature range of silicone with the
superior oil and solvent resistance of fluororubber. Phenyl silicone
rubber incorporates phenyl groups to reduce crystallization, delivering
outstanding ultra-low temperature resistance (down to -110°C) and
excellent radiation resistance.
