Phenyl
silicone rubber introduces phenyl side groups onto the siloxane
backbone, significantly enhancing radiation resistance and ultra-low
temperature performance. Its glass transition temperature can drop as
low as -120°C, maintaining elasticity even in liquid nitrogen, while
offering excellent ozone and UV resistance. Widely used in spacecraft
seals, nuclear power cable insulation, and polar expedition equipment,
it is a reliable material for deep space radiation and extreme cold
environments.
