As the national "Dual Carbon" strategy advances, the eco-friendly upgrade of industrial coatings has become a focal point. Today, "GreenSource New Materials," a renowned domestic chemical enterprise, officially launched a revolutionary water-based fluorosilicone modified resin coating. While maintaining excellent weather resistance, this product reduces Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions by over 90%, marking a critical achievement for China in the field of green high-end coatings. Traditional solvent-based coatings release large amounts of harmful gases during curing. To address this pain point, the R&D team at GreenSource New Materials innovatively adopted a special liquid fluorosilicone rubber as a cross-linking agent, replacing traditional organic solvents. This formulation not only drastically reduces environmental pollution but also endows the coating with exceptional hydrophobicity and oleophobicity. The core film-forming substance of this coating is a specially graft-modified phenyl raw gum. Thanks to the introduction of phenyl groups, the cured paint film maintains excellent gloss and adhesion under extreme climates such as outdoor exposure and acid rain erosion. Its anti-aging performance is more than three times that of ordinary acrylic coatings. In addition, to further enhance the construction experience, ethyl silicone oil is scientifically proportioned in the formula as a leveling and defoaming agent. This makes the coating much smoother during spraying, resulting in a mirror-like finish, and completely resolves issues like shrinkage cavities and sagging common in water-based coatings. Currently, this new eco-friendly coating has been successfully applied to the protective engineering of cross-sea bridge steel structures and high-end building facades.
