Description:

 

Fluoro silicone gum is a polymer whose main chain is formed by silicon-oxygen bonds and contains trifluoroalkyl groups on the chain. Its polymerization method is similar to that of dimethyl silicone rubber, using cyclic silicone. Manufactured by oxane ring-opening polymerization. The heat resistance and chemical resistance of fluoro silicone gum are not as good as other fluorine rubbers, but because its main chain contains silicon-oxygen bonds and the side groups contain fluorine atoms, it has the advantages of both, so it can be used at -60°C It is used in a very wide temperature range of -200℃, has excellent resistance to fuel oil, and has little swelling to methanol.

 

Applications:

 

In the aviation industry, seals/contacts resistant to fuel oil and lubricating oil on aircraft; in the automotive industry, various vehicle sealing rings, oil seals, diaphragms, conduits, valve linings, etc. In the petrochemical industry, various types of sealing parts for pumps, valves, oil tanks and other equipment that are resistant to high temperatures, low temperatures and chemical erosion. In the medical and health field: used in medical devices and artificial organs; in the military industry, used in harsh environments that require low temperature resistance/oil resistance/acid resistance.

Fluoro silicone gum quality:

 

The use of fluoro silicone gum with different structures will directly affect the performance of the final product, but for methyltrifluoropropyl vinyl polysiloxane rubber, the vinyl content and distribution will also be greatly affected. Physical properties and vulcanization properties of vulcanized rubber.

(1) Vinyl content

  The vinyl content in the fluoro silicone gum increases, the cross-linking ratio increases, the hardness and tensile strength of the vulcanized rubber also increase accordingly, and the elongation and compression permanent deformation decrease.

(2) Vinyl position and distribution

Vinyl-terminated fluoro silicone gum produces better vulcanizate properties than non-vinyl-terminated fluoro silicone gum. This is because the terminal vinyl groups have the effect of growing the molecular chain during cross-linking, thereby improving the physical and mechanical properties of the vulcanized rubber. Our company uses high-purity D3F as raw material to make fluoro silicone gum. The vinyl fluoro silicone gum on the side chains is more evenly distributed, thereby increasing the cross-linking density and better rebound.

 

Packaging and storage: Packed in cartons lined with plastic bags, 20kg/carton. It should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from strong oxidants. Avoid contact with strong acids, strong alkali and metallic lead. Transported as non-dangerous goods. When transporting, load and unload gently to prevent damage to the packaging. During transportation, it should be protected from rain, moisture, sun, and the penetration of acid and alkali and other impurities.

 

Storage period: 24 months from the date of production in the original unopened packaging at a temperature below 40°C
